End of one academic year brings with happiness, hope and relief from the academic tensions and exam pressure.
But for students of class 10th who have been promoted to class 11th , end of academic year brings with relaxation from board exam fear and confusion to select a stream for their future studies.
DOES IT'S OKAY TO BE CONFUSED?
So to take a right decision it's okay to be confused and worried.
HOW TO GET OVER RIGHT
DECISION ?
Choose a stream equivalent to your decided career .
Select as per Interest.
Compare Advantages and Disadvantages of each stream.
Ask from elders and get advise form seniors.
STREAM EQUIVALENT TO CAREER
The required act is to track what is the stream required for selected ambition and simply go for it.
for example:
In order to become a doctor one should opt form Science (PCB : Physics Chemistry Biology, some people call it Bio).
for being an engineer in future one should go for Math (PCM : Physics Chemistry Mathematics).
the Students who have set goal of being a CA (Chartered Accountant) must head for Commerce.
But for some career options like Civil Service one can select any stream and what if we have not selected our career?

PCM (Mathematics)
Advantages:
- Make mind sharp and raises IQ.
- The college level Mathematics is hard hence selecting mathematics gives a hand(help).
- Switching to other streams is easy and learning Physics is easy for students who take PCM.
Disadvantages:
- It is quite costly and people who aren't good at arithmetic might feel problem in adapting to PCM's requirements.
PCB (Science/Bio)
Advantages:
- It's a practical subject and it's topics can be used in daily life .
- It opens doors to medical career where one can get heavy paying jobs.
- It is an interesting subject which enables the student to explore and discover about life forms, vast expanding universe and microscopic kingdom of elements.
Disadvantages:
- It requires to sometimes memories different complex names and no one can escape from last manual writing work.
Commerce:
Advantages:
- enhances commercial knowledge and is a stream which provide many career opportunities.
- If you wanna get engaged in some business activities, it would provide you the adequate Knowledge of business world.
- You can easily fill vaccancies of government jobs and you wouldn't feel any problem to switch to arts stream when required.
Disadvantages:
- You wouldn't be easy to switch to PCB or PCM streams after class 10th and this stream doesn't provide much technological information.
Arts/Humanities:
Advantages:
- It is less costly in comparison to other streams.
- Most of subjects under Arts stream are major subject for government and Civil Service exams.
- A person with less mathematical skills can easily score good if he had(or can gain ) good memorizing skills.
Disadvantages:
- It's difficult to find schools which teaches and evaluate Arts stream subject and this is a theory subject who which awakes a problem for the students who have weak memorizing skills.
